You’ll come across plenty of naturally occurring food, but it’s not nearly as effective as the health boost and Em excesso perks you can get from learning to cook.
You can't really make these items until you get to the mid-game, either, so take advantage of the Core's Waypoint in the early game and build your base near it!

I defeated one boss like 10 times in the early game, only to discover that they dropped a Magic weapon, when I decided to kill them once more at the end. I cant even imagine the expierience of having to play a Magic class, and actually having to redo a boss so many times with a sub-optimal setup, only to get 1 upgreade.

Scholar's Staff is dropped by Caveling Scholars in this sub-biome dungeon is a hard hitting ranged weapon that can be very useful against Omoroth.
The Basic Workbench gives you access to a bunch of important items for setting up your base. Here are the key items you'll need in your first couple of hours:
Soul of Ra-Akar. Once a power is collected, the boss's sigil is added to the Souls tab of the character screen. Each sigil can be clicked to toggle that ability on or off.
Pretty much all enemies spawn based on the tiles placed on the ground. If you remove them, enemies won't spawn in that area any longer. Each type of tile spawns different kinds of enemies; you can collect these tiles and place them down elsewhere in order to make monster farms.

3. RNG - While RNG isnt the worst on Melee or Core Keeper Gameplay Ranged, because you can get items from crafting, the fact that you cannot do the same for Magic or Summon, makes for a really painful expierience. There needs to be a crafting bench for magic classes, just to reduce the absolute grind that players who choose to play that dmg type would have to suffer through.
